Russian Massage in Abu Dhabi

Russian massage at Elvara Spa is done by therapists trained in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, in a private room at Royal M Hotel by Gewan in Al Bateen. A 60 minute session starts at AED 650, and we are open every day from 11:00 to 01:00.

What "Russian massage" means

In Russia and neighbouring countries, massage has a long tradition in sports and recovery, and therapists there are usually trained in a structured, classic method. A typical Russian massage uses the same building blocks as Swedish massage, such as stroking, kneading, friction and vibration, but spends more time on kneading and takes a firmer, more methodical approach to tight muscles. Guests often describe it as "a proper massage": thorough, steady and focused on how the muscles feel.

Our team includes certified therapists from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia and Turkey. When you book, you can ask for a specific therapist by name or simply describe the pressure and style you like, and we match you.

Which treatment to book

There is no single "Russian massage" on our menu, because the style shows up in how the treatment is done rather than in its name. Most guests looking for it book one of these:

• Deep tissue massage from AED 700, for firm, methodical work on the back, neck and legs.
• Swedish massage from AED 650, for a classic full body massage with medium pressure.
• Elvara Signature Massage from AED 700, our own blend of Swedish, Balinese and aromatherapy.

What to expect

Your therapist asks about problem areas and pressure before starting, and checks in during the session. Treatments are professional, one to one, with draping at all times. Men and women are both welcome.
